HONOR plans to integrate cutting-edge Gen-AI experiences, powered by Google Cloud, into its upcoming smartphones.

Global tech brand HONOR made its debut at VivaTech, one of Europe's largest technology and innovation events. During their keynote speech, the company unveiled its pioneering four-layer Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy and announced upcoming Gen-AI experiences with Google Cloud, set to be included in their future smartphones.

Introducing HONOR's Four-Layer AI Architecture

During the keynote, HONOR revealed its innovative four-tier AI architecture, highlighting its strategic focus on integrating AI into MagicOS. The first layer, focusing on cross-device and cross-OS AI, establishes an open ecosystem that facilitates the sharing of computing power and services between different devices and platforms.

The second layer, platform-level AI, allows for a customized operating system, enhancing human-device interaction based on intent. The third layer, application-level AI, is poised to introduce a wave of generative and innovative AI applications that will revolutionize user experiences.

At the top of this architecture is the interface layer to cloud AI services, which provides easy access to these massive services while prioritizing privacy protection, creating a truly comprehensive and future-oriented AI experience.

In line with this, Magic Portal, integrated into MagicOS 8.0, is positioned as the industry's first intent-based interface. This innovative technology understands user behavior and simplifies complex tasks into single-step processes. Currently, this feature supports a wide range of applications across seven distinct scenarios, including travel, productivity, messaging, search, entertainment, shopping, and social networking. Additionally, there are plans to expand these use cases to provide even smoother and smarter AI functionalities in the future.

As part of this architecture, HONOR will integrate Gen-AI experiences powered by Google Cloud into its upcoming smartphones, promising to deliver a new level of intelligence and innovation to consumers with enhanced privacy protection.
