Tesla, Elon Musk's electric vehicle (EV) company, announced plans on Thursday to launch its fully autonomous driving (FSD) feature in Europe and China by early 2025, pending regulatory approval in those regions.

Tesla's official account on X, Musk's social media platform, stated that the FSD assistance product is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2025. While FSD was released in beta in the United States in 2020, it has yet to be introduced in Europe or China.

Last year, the European Commission announced it was fast-tracking legislation for autonomous driving, known as the UNECE Regulation on Driver Control Assistance Systems (DCAS).

Currently, only the first phase has been approved, allowing for autonomous driving under specific conditions. Tesla is expected to unveil its 'robotaxi,' named Cybercab, within the next month. According to a Tesla video, the Cybercab will not have a steering wheel.

When Will Tesla Unveil Its New Model?

According to Bloomberg, Tesla plans to use Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles to showcase the new product on October 10. Musk mentioned in July that Tesla was likely to secure regulatory approval for FSD in both Europe and China by the end of the year.
